Members listed here are actively involved in the network, sharing knowledge and expertise, helping the network grow and develop and regularly attend meetings and events. All these organisations have signed up to the PMN Best Practice guidelines.
The Youth Mediation Project trains children to become mediators and to use their skills to resolve conflict differently at school and in the community, and has had great success with many local pupils. Schools have reported improved communications and behavior, leadership and social skills in their pupils. The center also uses its student teenage mediators.

Queensbridge Primary School is a diverse inner city school. We use Restorative Justice across the school and have a Peer Mediation Scheme now in its fourth year.We are a teaching school and run training for Peer Mediation in other schools.
Edinburgh Peace & Justice Centre
Our innovative, tried and tested Cooperative Games and Conflict Resolution Programme for Primary Schools is available for schools at no cost . We can offer the programme to run for 8 weeks per term with two or possibly four class groups.
Mediation skills for life in school and beyond: TalkingWorks is a one-day (5 hour) practical training in mediation skills developed specifically for sixth-formers and Post-16 students. The training is delivered by a team of professional mediators.
Peaceworks has been delivering peer mediation in schools since 2001 specialising in delivering sustainable peer mediation programmes from Year 2 through high school to further education and workplace settings. We also offer accredited mediation and management skills training as well as workplace, family and community mediation.

Quaker Peace & Social Witness (QPSW) works with Quakers and others to develop peace education initiatives, challenge the militarisation of children, and enhance young people's capacity to create alternatives to violence at personal, community, national and international levels.

Mediation for Shepway and Dover
We have 7 years’ experience of training children to become mediators and now work with a number of schools each year, helping to keep their mediation service running. We could run training sessions, at times to suit your school, to produce a team of up to 12 Peer Mediators.
Ace Mediation is a unique mediation panel of expert, experienced, accredited mediators.
We are all trained in Peer Mediation as well as being highly qualified and experienced professionals from the diverse fields of law, banking, medicine, accountancy and education. We are pleased to accept mediation assignments throughout the UK and further afield.
Maidstone Mediation Scheme
Maidstone Mediation Scheme is a registered charity and voluntary organisation which offers services to the community in a variety of contexts. We work in the Maidstone and Malling areas with the objective of bringing peace and understanding amongst people with disputes of all kinds, and train peer mediators.
David Gamble Mediation
David Gamble is an independent civil and commercial mediator, accredited by the London School of Mediation. Throughout David's extensive career, he has always been regarded as a 'good problem solver' and has been involved with great success in the outcome of many disputes.
Being a voluntary mentor for the 13-25 age group in Cornwall as well as the Princes Trust, David is certified by CRESST and is passionately promotes peer mediation in schools.
Peacemakers educates for peace. Our highly experienced trainers work with both school staff and pupils to develop skills, knowledge, behaviour and systems that develop peaceful learning environments. Our work can enhance your PSHE or SMSC provision, living out school values, help with difficulties around class cohesion, low level disruption and social skills. Our work is inclusive, dynamic and experiential – and great fun! We tailor our work to individual schools, offering a range of services including Peer Mediation training pupils to resolve disputes between themselves, and Peacemakers courses providing children with the social and emotional skills to build relationships and resolve conflicts peacefully. We deliver work in the West Midlands.
The Mediation Service
The Mediation Service is able to offer restorative and mediation services to schools and other educational facilities. We can deliver peer mediation training to all ages, incorporate staff and whole school approach training, circle time, parent/teach/child mediation and family group conferencing. In additional to our schools work we also work in the community on anti social behavior issues and neighbor disputes, as well as training for front line staff dealing with clients in challenging circumstances. Please also inquire about our restorative justice work with victims and offenders, both in custodial and community settings.
Leap Confronting Conflict
Leap is a registered training provider and social enterprise providing conflict resolution training to young people and the adults that work with them - all across the UK.
We work with young people aged 11 – 25 to understand and manage the conflict in their lives and stop it becoming something more destructive or violent. We also recognize that adults working with young people can give them the skills, confidence and knowledge to challenge conflict and develop as people. Therefore we also train professionals such as teachers, youth workers, police and prison officers so that managing conflict benefits whole communities and transforms lives.
Leap has trained over 25,000 young people in peer mediation since 2000.
Wye Valley Mediation
Wye Valley Mediation works to encourage Peer Mediation in Hereford, Powys and Worcestershire. Claire is a Family Mediator in the Hereford/Powys area and a Governor at a local Primary School where experiences mediating between the school and parents with respect to cases of 'bullying' have led to an interest in Restorative Justice and Peer Mediation. Claire's professional background is as a family barrister (called 1994), Principal Lecturer on the Bar Professional Training Course teaching among other subjects, Alternative Dispute Resolution. Claire trained as a Family Mediator in 2012, received MIAMS accreditation in 2013 and am currently applying for the APC.
Mountains to Molehills
Our aim is to help people understand and have the means and will to reduce harmful conflict. We can develop a relationship with you long-term for scheduled or ad-hoc support and ongoing development as well as providing set-up and training for new schemes such as peer mediation in secondary schools or other organisations - for adult or youth settings.
We are a mediation and conflict resolution service. Our mediators offer family, elder, interpersonal, civil, community, neighborhood, workplace and civil mediation. We also offer conflict coaching to individuals. We work online throughout the World via Skype and in-person at our consulting rooms in Ipswich, and by appointment elsewhere.
Mediation Herts has been training peer mediators in schools since 2005 and works with young people aged from 6 to 18 years. It also supports schools in setting up schemes and running top-up training, including with school staff and midday supervisors.
ARC - Alternative Resolution to Conflict
ARC combines extensive experience and professional knowledge to form new combinations of solutions to resolve disputes, that ruin lives and blight organisations. ARC delivers mediation training in schools.
Daren De Witt, of NVC Resolutions, offers peer mediation training for primary and secondary schools in London and surrounding counties. He can provide one-off peer mediation training programmes as well as ongoing support for your school or organisation. Daren has been teaching peer mediation in primary and secondary schools since 1999. He is a senior UK certified trainer with and representative of the international Centre for Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and Nonviolent Communication underpins his peer mediation training programmes. Daren also offers conflict resolution and communication skills training for school staff, and active listening skills/empathy skills training for staff and students.
We promote, support and deliver restorative practices in Schools and in wider communities. This includes restorative peer mediation, because we support the principle that the best people to solve problems are those nearest to them. We are introducing restorative practices to Schools in Cornwall and we hold the Training Provider quality mark of the Restorative Justice Council. We are especially interested in the ways that differences are valued. We are enjoying our learning journey and want to exchange and collaborate with others as we grow.
Peacebuilders is pioneering some peer mediation work across schools in Burnley in partnership with Smile Mediation, a community mediation charity.
Laura Gilchrist brings fifteen years of experience in delivering training and all training is bespoke to meet the particular needs of the client. Training topics include: active listening, conflict awareness and resilience, managing conflict effectively, teamwork style profiling and communication skills
We are experienced and dedicated mediators, and specialise in the Education Sector. As well as offering peer mediation, we also provide workplace mediation between employees and also work with families and professional to resolve complaints and disagreements.
We believe strongly in the transformative power of mediation, and that learning the skills at an early stage in life is invaluable.
Yorkshire Mediation promotes the resolution of conflict by helping people to understand and respect each other and to communicate effectively.
